Unable to load a design from disk.

Troubleshooting loading design issues.

I’m trying to load design; it shows on monitor board however when I try to select it I receiver error code B04…. any idea what the problem is?

Tajima Error Codes B01, B02, B03, B04, deal with loading designs into your Tajima memory. Here are some troubleshooting tips that may help.

• Check to see if you are using the correct Stich files for your machine.

  • Tajima uses DST stitch files. Some machines use other formats, but most commercial embroidery machines will load DST files.

  • Some older machine may not allow you to put the files in a folder. You may need to save the design to the disc without being in a folder.

• Floppy Drives may need to be cleaned. You need a cleaning kit to clean them.

  • Nexhi NXH-6000 Premium 3.5In Floppy Drive Cleaning Kit

• Check the connection if you are using a USB - thumb drive.

  • sometimes the connection gets a little mangled and that cause a bad connection.

• You may need to format your USB or floppy drive. Most will work with FAT16. (See the File Allocation Table (FAT) from Wikipedia below.)

• Some systems use smaller USB so changing to a thumb drive under 2 Gigs may solve your issues.

Most of your issues can be resolved using these tips. If your issues persist you may have a faulty Drive.
